Mr. Fermin G. Adames

June 25, 1944 - January 29, 2012

“I did it my way” was the theme of the life of Fermin G. Adames. He started Tempco Electric Heater, Corporation in 1972. Fermin built a thriving business that brought him honors, such as Entrepreneur of the Year in 1989. Becoming a citizen of the U.S. was the attainment of a lifelong dream. His proudest achievement came in the form of his adoring family.

He was the beloved husband of Janell, nee White. A loving father of Fermin A. Adames, Maquis Adames, Jennifer Adames-Smith, Leonardo Adames and Kyle G. Adames. Cherished grandfather of Tanner, Brennen, Jonas, and Isabella. Dear brother of Maria Elena Rocha de Adames, Carlos Adames, and Leonardo Adames. Devoted son of the late Fermin and Maria Elena Adames.

Funeral Information

Visitation Friday, February 3, 2012, 3:00-9:00PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Funeral Saturday, February 4, 2012, 9:30AM from the funeral home to St. Theresa Church, 467 N. Benton Street, Palatine for Mass at 10:00AM. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
